These two come up together constantly, and I understand why. Both are Sobha, both are Gurgaon, both launched recently. But they are built for different people, and the price gap tells you most of the story before we even start.
Let me put the published numbers side by side first, then explain what they mean.

The three-year gap matters more than the price gap
Crescent completes in March 2033. Aranya completes in December 2030. That is not a detail. That is a different life stage.
If you are buying somewhere to live in, three extra years of rent or EMI-plus-rent is real money, and it compounds. If you are buying to hold, the longer runway is arguably the point: you are entering at the first price the project will ever have, and paying for it in instalments stretched across the build.
Neither is wrong. They are just different bets.
What you are actually paying the extra ₹1.24 Cr for
At entry level, Aranya costs about 21% more than Crescent. You get roughly 560 more square feet, and you get the estate.
That second part is the one worth thinking about. Karma Lakelands is a 270-acre biodiverse property that has existed for two decades. Nine-hole golf course designed by Phil Ryan. Around 200,000 trees across five forest zones. More than 140 recorded bird species. The golf course is irrigated with recycled water.
You cannot build that. A developer can plant trees and call it a forest, and in ten years it might be one. Aranya is dropping five towers into something already grown.
What you are paying Crescent for instead
Location, and the kind of location that is already finished.
- Sector 63A sits on Golf Course Extension Road, which is Gurgaon's established luxury-residential spine, with occupied towers, working schools and real retail
- SPR and CPR are about 5 minutes out, Sector 55–56 Rapid Metro around 7
- Cyber City is roughly 25 minutes, IGI Airport about 30
- It is the last sector that genuinely overlooks the Aravallis
Aranya trades that for seclusion. NH-48 is 2 minutes away and IMT Manesar about 5, but Cyber City is 25 minutes and Golf Course Road closer to 30. If your office is in central Gurgaon, that is a daily cost.
Buy the commute you will actually do on a Tuesday morning, not the one you imagine on a Sunday afternoon.
Who I would point where
Crescent, if…
- You work in central or south Gurgaon and want the drive to stay short
- ₹5.75 Cr is closer to your ceiling than ₹7.10 Cr
- A 2033 handover suits you, because you are not moving in immediately
- You would rather be surrounded by a neighbourhood that already works
Aranya, if…
- You want space, and the 4,240 sq.ft. layout has no equivalent at Crescent
- Green surroundings are a reason to move, not a bonus
- December 2030 fits your timeline better than 2033
- You play golf, or would like the option without a membership scramble
How to settle it in a weekend
- Drive to both sites on the same weekday morning, back to back.
- From each, drive to your office. Time it honestly.
- Compare the cost sheets on carpet area, not quoted size.
- Decide whether you are buying a neighbourhood or an estate. They are different products.
